So as usual the Enemedia/MSM took Trump's statement literally when Trump said "if North Korea continues to threaten the US they will be met with fire and fury like he world has never known". Shortly after that statement NK said they we're working on an attack plan for Guam, (how dumb are the Norks to tell the US we're preparing to attack you in mid August)

Anyway, because Trump did not immediately attack NK after the regimes statement on attacking Guam the narrative from the Enemedia/MSM is "Trump set a red line and allowed NK to cross that red line".

It's the MSM's way of trying to temper anyone from criticizing Obama's real red line in Syria that was completely shite stomped.

Trump could bring about world peace, and the media headline would read "Trump puts our brave men and women in uniform out of work!"

There is nothing, absolutely NOTHING Trump can do that will not result in media criticism.

At this point, does anyone GAF what the degenerate media says?

They've practically neutered themselves.

Ithis has been a talking point for 3 days. It's so dumb. I mean really dumb. He's already been clear he doesn't draw red lines.

Now if NK fires rockets at or near Guam. I expect him to act. I think he will. Even if they are close.

this "red line"t thing is so fricking dumb

you have the Trumpkins running around screaming that Trump never said "red line" so the comparison can't be made, even though Trump obviously implied a "line"

and then you have the media trying to compare the situations as exactly the same and, in a way, egg Trump on, and for what? Just so they can scream war monger when he does bomb them?

Everything about this whole situation is so goddamn retarded

Exactly. There's a six page thread about how Trump's successes in immigration are hurting farmers. 10 years ago, liberals wanted to scourge the earth of businesses that employed illegals.

It's good to know that Trump can set liberal policy just by taking action.

The idiots are so anxious to criticize that they won't let this play out to avoid embarrassment later.

Clinton's video extolling his deal that allowed the current situation to arise sure isn't getting much play.

So I guess everytime a leader vows to defend his country against a foriegn aggressor, we get to call it a "red line" because liberals got rash arse over Obama's Syrian failures.

That's going to be a lot of red lines.

This is the reason for this particular MSM tirade...just a pathetic attempt to inoculate BO from his limp dick performance when it came to walking the talk...

It would help immensely if Trump had a vocabulary above 5th grade level, and a temperament more mature than a jilted 12 yr old girl on her period.

I absolutely love the fact that HRC is not POTUS - and have accepted the fact that maybe Trump was the only one who could have achieved that result. And I have always been in total agreement with the essence of Trump's message - but GAWDAMMIT - this man drives me absolutely crazy with the bullshite that falls out of his mouth on a daily/hourly basis.

I cringe when he speaks = I pull my hair when he shits all over his message = I become damn near apoplectic when he creates mountains of trouble for himself all for the sake of soothing his fragile ego.

Does anyone know if Trump is an OK conversationalist in his private life? I have discovered not a single episode of his public pronouncements that would pass a fifth grade level of eloquence. Does his cabinet have to sit thru this level of moronic communication??

You have to be Jim-Jones-cult-level nuts to not be baffled with his verbiage.

Trump is up against the most biased news media that has ever existed - not only biased but openly hostile to him. He makes their job infinitely easier by the way he erupts garbage from his mouth - giving them a thing object to dissect, mock, and interpret. And a casual observer cannot be blamed for agreeing with them.

just for clarification, do you want war?

or would you prefer diplomacy?

and if you prefer the latter, would you criticize Trump for succumbing to reason and extending his "line"?

thanks

how about criticizing Trump for making a dumb arse comment in the first place?

it's one thing when you pop off about the ACA or whatever, it's something else when it's a potential international incident. How some of you people continue to gloss over and/or defend (or worse, blame the media!) it is mind boggling.

At this point as the childish political media argues about red lines because they are butt hurt over Obama's political wounds from declaring red lines I'm just happy we have adults running our national security.
