I used to agree with you, but now I fully support defunding NPR. It is extremely political, except on weekends when the fun shows are on. And even those are becoming political.

Why is that? They were started at a time when there was no additions to the big 3 alphabet stations. Now there are hundreds of other sources. Besides, they do very well on their own. They will tell you this themselves. Every time someone brings up cutting the taxpayer funding, they point out that "Its such a small amount compared to our budget".
