Hey Jeff. Why did you bring in 100's of Mexican welders for your company's job near Lake Charles?
Hey Jeff. Why did you sue a newspaper reporter for requesting public records from your AG's office?
Hey Jeff. Why did you send agents to MS as a favor to Shane Guidry?

I am neither here or there when it comes to Jeff Landry but I will say this, as far as I can tell, the construction industry workers are now South American including the construction supervisors. Just my impression. I imagine it would be really difficult to build anything without South American workers involved these days.

It’s time to just accept that Landry will be elected Governor, as shitty as he is, mostly thanks to the roughly 40% of the states population that thinks fighting culture wars with the federal government is important.

At this point, it's smart political strategy. It would take a MAJOR, unforeseen botching for Jeff Landry not to be Louisiana's next Governor.
That said, it sucks for voters that the front runner isn't going to have to give any sort of idea of his philosophies on state-specific issues.
I'm guessing it'll be eight years of mostly culture war stuff. Possibly some budget or civil service reform if pushed heavily by the state legislature.

Because it was cheaper. This has nothing to do with his positions and shows zero hypocrisy.
It is not hypocritical to be in favor of protectionism while taking advantage of current laws that allow immigration. Nor is it hypocritical to be in favor of higher taxes while continuing to pay the lower statutory ones.
Landry is the next Governor. There is no reason for anyone - Republican, Democrat or Independent - to spend much energy on it anymore.

I used to joke about this because the loon above has been going with this line for a while, but now I’m starting to believe there is some coordinated effort to spread this line. Not necessarily (and probably not) the Landry campaign, but from a couple of the PAC/orgs backing him.
Ran across a buddy the other day, who is a Landry supporter and not an idiot, who repeated a similar sentiment. So it’s coming from somewhere other than just nut message board posters.
