The OP's point may be this: USA, whether you decide to fight or not, you are going to be in a fight. We won't stop trying to kill you. You can either defend yourself or not. That's your choice. We will kill you whether you fight or try to surrender.
No need for state sponsored holy war.
Our resources are just fine to take care of the extremist when need be.
Israel can have their holy war and they are doing a good job at it.

OP said crusade which is a holy war no way around it and others agreeing to wipe all Muslims out. Sorry im not down with genocide. No matter what there will always be people who don't get along with our viewpoints. Lets not act like the christian religion in recent history is clean either.

If you are concerned about a coming war with Islam, prepare yourself for defense. No needs to attack first and kill millions of innocents just because a lot of the crazies are shaking their scimitars.

At least you are not a blowhard on here like most. However, this whole "bomb them to smithereens" mentality hasn't quite worked out in that part of the world. They do that to themselves.

Our enemies agree with you completely. They would go further to say that Christianity is best wiped off of the face of the earth. They consider YOU to be a Christian, unless you are a good practicing Muslim, which, you are not.

That's why I propose to completely leave the region. Let them do whatever the hell they want. If they continue to attack us then we'll just end it and there won't even be a religion left for them to fight for. They can police their own or die.
