I wouldn't mind putting them in the Alaskan wilderness for temporary housing. It has to be a place where you can only get to by ship or plane until you are properly vetted to leave or peace returns to where you are from.

Because providing safe zones is going to lead to boots on the ground. You can't drop bombs on refugee camps without backlash.

Read the link. Obama refused to put boots on the ground to fight Isis. The US will put boots on the ground. The safe zones is the first step. You'll be sold that it's in the US best interest to wipe out ISIS and another costly WAR will start. MIC 101.

Refugee safe zones should have been the answer from day one and should have been instituted by the UN.
Of course, we could have also not wrongfully funded the rebellion in Syria (and indirectly funded ISIS and other Sunni terrorist groups in Syria) and all of this would have been over years ago.
