There are people who voted for Trump with totally valid reasons and then there are Trumpkins who, as Trump was being taken to the clink, would be trumpeting his brilliant 4D chess move and how his getting drilled in prison is a profound statement on the the Deep States control of our once beautiful country.

Which are you?

The one that would like to hear you explain a few valid reasons why people voted for Trump.

Then I'll answer your question.

1. Middle class getting crushed while corp profits go up and offshoring is incentivized. E.g. His populist message
2. Overly sensitive/ PC culture
3. Hillary Clinton was a terrible fricking count who was forced down peoples throat via a corrupt DNC who have their primary rigged via superdelegates
4. His positions on entrenched washington establishment and lobbyists

I personally was skeptical of whether he would do anything to fix #4 and he ends up surrounding himself with Goldman Sachs.

AUbused, I started this thread figuring that if I was going to make the mistake of dabbling on the poliboard then I might as well go ahead and declare myself politically.

I did not expect that you would expound on your comment above that there exist at least some valid reasons why a person would vote for Trump, but you did, and deserve the courtesy of a response.

Which are you?

I'm a person who voted for Trump for totally valid reasons, including, but not limited to, . . .
quote:

1. Middle class getting crushed while corp profits go up and offshoring is incentivized. E.g. His populist message.
2. Overly sensitive/ PC culture

4. His positions on entrenched washington establishment and lobbyists

I'm also a person who unconditionally supports Trump because he is waging a war against the Democrats, the GOPe, and the MSM. The first two comprise the uniparty who have added $20T to the debt ledger of our country, and the third serves the uniparty to mollify and reassure the ignorant masses that all is well.

As I stated in the OP, the more vehemently the MSM attacks President Trump the more certain I am that he's doing the something right.

And the second part of your question presupposed a hypothetical which epitomizes the problem.

I'll ask this rhetorically so this thread can die a quiet death, but do you really believe that President Trump is going to jail? Do you really believe it's important or necessary to know whether a Trumpkin would still support him if President Trump was getting drilled in the arse while in prison? For reals?

Candidate Trump emerged from a field of 17 on the Republican side. His message was, and remains, very simple - that the United States Government should first and foremost make decisions that benefit America and its citizens. That as a country we had arrived at a juncture where such an obvious nationalist sentiment was a contentious notion really highlights how far America has veered off course.

Then one recalls that our last administration gave Iran 1.4 billion dollars in cash, traded five high level terrorist for a traitor, entered into an illusory contract with China to save the global climate, and on, and on, etc.

Until the Left ceases to condescend towards me and engage in substantive policy dialogue, until the MSM ceases to lie to me and blatantly continue attempts to subvert the current administration, and until the GOPe either gets on board or the frick out of the way, I remain immune and outside the sphere of their political influence.

And if the world has to burn before that happens - so be it. I've got popcorn.

Ps. Trump was my third choice, BTW, and I'm not a registered Republican.

What about supporting trump b/c you think he is going to do something positive for the country. I could respect that, but to vote for him b/c "It pisses off MSM, Libs, etc.." is just fricking stupid and immature.

Trumpkims don't need to self soothe. We just grab sniveling liberals by the pussy and hold them accountable for their hypocrisy and lies.
