This comment has been widely ignored by the MSM and everyday Americans, but imo, it is an excellent indicator of how weak and ineffectual an FBI Director Comey truly was. He was given a direct order he knew was politically motivated....and he folded like a cheap tent.
He intentionally misled the American people by downplaying the investigation into Hillary Clinton and her numerous crimes and he should be held accountable.

He is just a weird psychological study. If someone were ever to make a definitive timeline of his words and deeds in the last calendar year it would be a shocking daily level of duplicity, cowardice and sanctimony. I'm not sure how he found time to sleep.
The most ridiculous of all his foibles is this idea he peddles that he was somehow powerless at every point to just say "wtf are you doing-you can't fricking do that you dumbfrick" like any first year law student or sophomore ethics class student. Just be decisive and have some fricking balls. You are the head of the FBI for God's sake not a payroll clerk.

IMO, he also wasted taxpayer money on an investigation (muh Russians) that he knew wasn't going to lead to anything...all in the name of optics, and a vendetta against Trump.
He should probably be prosecuted for criminal malfeasance on that alone.

For example, the fact that Trump was never under any investigation for anything was NEVER leaked. Comey managed to keep that critical fact TOP SECRET and he watched the Democrats launch false allegations and unwarranted attacks on POTUS without taking any action in the interests of fair play.
Comey is a slick bureaucrat whose TOP priority has always been Looking Out for Number One.

Only thing Comey screwed up on was - He should have rained hell down on that bunch of idiots in the Bundy Klan that took over Federal Property. His response was due to an official change in FBI protocol of defusing situations like that. Feds should have gone David Koresh on Bundy morons imo.
