Parler is saying that they are getting 1,000 new members an hour, and thousands of conservatives are claiming to delete their Twitter accounts. Wouldn't that explain the drop in followers?

Absolutely. While twitter might not be banning egg conservative accounts, if you ban all the content creators who's left to follow? With little to no one left to follow, there's no reason to stay.

I guess you could argue that twitter doesn't ban conservatives* and it'd be true...

*so long as conservatives don't make themselves know.

When did twitter or fakebook become required?

I actually agree with this.

But seeing as my healthcare costs over doubled because progressives argued, successfully, that healthcare is a right why shouldn't social media as well?

Sure I can still communicate face to face, but it's not effective. A bit like using leaves and twine is a bandage is "healthcare".

McCarthey and Cotton deserve every bit of that. Two of the biggest sellouts

Oh... so only censoring things you deem irrelevant. That's way different than what y'all are melting about

Please show where that is “censored”....because it is not here. Now if you can’t back it up or make unquantifiable comments (like you just did) you will have you arse flamed and told you are an idiot. Oh btw, you are an idiot!

Glad we have some common ground.

I didn't agree with this tax, at all. Unfortunately, what you're suggesting is possible... especially based on precedence. It's not my hope or desires, but the way we treat these companies needs some revamping, the last round is biting us square in the arse.

Insert healthcare in 1789 pic here, since I am an originalist. Probably a shocking revelation to you, but I'm incredibly right winged... just embarrassed we let some guy who was a Democrat into his 50s take over our party and run it straight into the ground in 4.5 years.

no you haven't
Even if they did the Foolish Bunch of Incompetents won't investigate until after something has occurred. For evidence check out the school shootings, CA Mooselimb terrorist shootings, FL nightclub shooting, ... the list gets rather long.

You and Fewer Kilometers seem to be the exact same type of person, and that really bothers me. Get your shite together guys, one of you needs to be the opposite of the other for continuity purposes

Dying laughing at this... but yeah, I feel your underlying point. When I poorly chose my handle, I had no frame of reference on posters with a similar name. Took me months to venture outside the SECr, so I accept responsibility for the confusion in names.

Who else was there? Conservatives were sick of establishment types who spoke one way when it was election time, then went to DC and did pretty much the opposite.

Lets assume Trump was polished and measured, no weird twitter rants, no salesman pitches of "the best ever", cutting people down that criticized him, etc. Do you think the things he got done, or attempted to get done, were worthwhile and good for the country?

Some things were awesome, like corporate taxes being lowered and deregulation. Pretty meh about the wall hoopla, mexico never paid for. I love troops are coming home, but we're hiding drone strike information. Closing travel from China, letting covid waltz right in via europe. Really a mixed bag overall, which is generally expected from me, before we start adding in all extracurricular negativity. Oh yeah, pretty ok with the supreme court appointments. Like I said, mixed bag for me overall.
