newt has been critical of this bill.
He is merely saying that if it passes then Trump gets the credit. Now he is saying, he knows it wont pass so why schedule a vote?

That anyone can say this and exclude Trump is hilarious.
Have you seen me defending Ryan much lately? I think his bill sucks, I think he was stupid to change his ACA proposals to appease moderates and in coordination with Trump.
The biggest fraud in DC right now is the administration. But I'm not going to take up for what Ryan has done since partnering with the WH.

Those in power would like nothing more than to be able to force something that 83% of Americans hate down their throats. That kind of power is what Newt would consider a "victory".
