Thinking about running for mayor of BR

You've come to the right place. First question... have you ever gone to a city council meeting?

Why would anyone want to be the mayor of BR? Or the mayor of any city? If you want to go into politics, aim higher.

how many people in the united states congress were mayors at one point?

You start off being a guinea pig for a congressman/woman and work your way up from there.

Run for state congress, then eventually throw your hat into the big boy lake.

I would vote for anyone who isn't a leftist or supports leftist agendas (even if Repubs support these shitty agendas). If that is you then I will vote for you.

Idk. I would argue being Mayor of BR is at least an equal gig to being a State Rep.

I have not, but right now I think that helps me. The people want a true outsider, it's time for a change

Even if you go to express your concern for current leadership, it's good to get your voice heard on the record by other people who will potentially vote for you.

I don't know off the top of my head, but I would bet a majority in Congress held an elected position before they were elected into the U.S. Congress

State Rep

then State Senate

then US Senate or Governor

then Emperor of the US after Trump renames the title

As someone else mentioned, being a Mayor of a large, capitol city like BR is at least on par with a state rep/senator

What ethnicity are you?

If the answer is white, you're 25 years late and you're now the most hated demographic in your district (guessing by the screen name you've chosen that you're also male)
