My ex wife in from Southern Indiana and she claims that she never saw a black in person until her family took a trip to NY when she was 10 or 11. There were no blacks that lived in the county at all until the mid '70s. To this day, there are very few blacks in the county.

Yeah it's almost like those race riots and lynchings up there never happened.
Almost like New York and Boston weren't the two biggest slave ports in America.
