There is a legitimate chance that Roe v. Wade will be overturned.

I think that there is a legitimate chance that Roe v. Wade and its progeny will be overturned in the next 10 years, and the right to abortion will no longer be recognized as guaranteed by the US constitution.
Remember that but for the Democrats "Borking" Robert Bork in the 80s, it would have been overturned already. We got the secretly pro-choice Kennedy instead of Bork, and the rest is history. Note that today, because of the composition of the senate, it would be almost impossible for the Democrats to use a similar trick.
Now, I take TRUMP at his word that he will only appoint anti-Roe SCOTUS Justices. Of course, I would be sorely disappointed if he appoints another Kennedy.
Assuming TRUMP replaces Scalia with an anti-Roe Justice (he will), all we need is one more anti-Roe Justice and the long national nightmare of constitutionally guaranteed abortion will be over.
This could be achieved by any one of Kennedy, Ginsberg, Breyer, Kagan, or Sotomayor somehow leaving the Court. Obviously Ginsberg is the most likely here followed by Kennedy and Breyer (Kagan and Sotomayor are long shots who will probably be on the bench for the better part of the next 30 years).
The dream of overturning Roe v. Wade is closer than it has ever been. Perhaps closer than many realize.

Get 'em while they're hot.

And have the birth rate of poors and trash skyrocket? Thus making the welfare net that much larger?
Please. No.
If abortions are made illegal than we better replace abortion with sterilization. Otherwise in another generation we will truly be fricked.

State Issue.
Irresponsible people should be FORCED to educate themselves, when their actions endanger the lives of other. Think drivers licenses. No different with infanticide.

This. People that are contributing to society aren't the ones getting abortions, as they usually plan their pregnancy.
What is your plan for the unwanted babies?

What type of force do you propose? Throwing them in jail and giving the kid up for adoption? Forcing the unwanted kid to live with them?

My plan entails forced sterilization of any and all persons on welfare longer than 2 years in a 5 span gap, or any and all welfare recipients with children in a single household, or welfare recipients with more than 2 kids.
Any and all violent felons get sterilized in jail.
Since we won't let natural selection run her corse anymore, we need to stop the breeding of the undesirable and leeches. Is it mean, maybe. But having kids isn't a right. It is a privilege. If you can't take care of your kids you should be banned from having them.
If they want a kid later down the road, then they can adopt.
Clense the gene pool.

Well, Hitler ruined any chance of that ever happening. The elite love having a healthy crop of useful idiots, this has been the intent all along, which is why subsidizing the degenerates occurs.

What does this have to do with Roe v. Wade?

But there is a chance it will be modified to outlaw late term abortions -- a position entirely compatible with the original Roe v Wade finding btw.

Oh I agree. The poor are the easiest to manipulate. And we have taken away any and all incentives for the poor to climb out of poverty. There are no punishments for having kids you can't afford.
We have become a world of bleeding hearts. We have turned against the natural instinct of only the strong survive. And that is a horrible thing.

Nope.
Do you know how rare it is for the SCOTUS to rule against itself? It doesn't happen often and very rarely happens with something that would have the type of blow back and impact of overturning Roe v. Wade.
Why do you want to pay for millions more on the welfare tab anyway?

A complete overturn will never happen. What could happen is the window of opportunity for abortions might tighten. There may be rulings more clearly defining terms like "health of the mother," and the constitutionality of the government funding places like PP.

Haha love the downvotes but lack of input on a different way to fix the problem

Yep, I'll worry about abortion when we have a shortage of people.

There used to be enforcement of Truancy Law, because just like with Drivers License, an ignorant Electorate in a Democratic Republic is not an option.
Above all, State Education should include age-appropriate Moral/Civic responsibility courses re child-bearing. The fact is that since there are few parents (who did this in the old days) in problematic Demographics (White and Black) that educate their own because they are deficient themselves...it then falls upon US/the State of perform this civic duty. This issue must be addressed...BEFORE we end up with the choice to which you allude.
Our children get a 'sex education' on social media/TV nowadays; State Education should offer a moral and viable alternative. Lest Mother Nature take the reins.

Agree. I've heard the same thing with every GOP president. The precedent has been reinforced too many times, and while conservative justices would rule the opposite way if the issue were being addressed for the first time, they're less likely to ignore decades of past rulings.
