To me, it's kind of pathetic that transportation is only 2.3 % of the budget. I'm not saying that it should be 23% of the budget like SS, but outside of our major cities, our transportation and infrastructure is severely lacking.
Now I'm hesitant to support a massive spending project, like Trump's 1 trillion dollar plan suggests, but I believe that earmarking at least some form of funding for infrastructure would be beneficial for most people in this country, not just one group.
