The protesting to date has been remarkably precisely because such huge numbers have turned out peacefully

However, these people are really only taking their cues from the Tea Pary protests - which arguably led more or less directly to a vast increase in political power (and ultimately the Trump presidency).

In what way was/is the Tea Party violent, much less a radical organization that had anything to do with Trump?

and there's the hyperbole . . . will we see some further overstatement? straw men? . . . maybe some just downright lies?

What don't you understand? Literal millions turned out in the streets the day after the election with effectively zero violence.

I wasn't comparing the Tea Party to the Cal assholes. I was comparing them to the overwhelmingly peaceful protestors which have been the norm since the election. The Tea Party worked! THAT'S the reason so many people have turned out to peacefully protest - in hopes that they can mimic that success.

I agree to an extent. If the peaceful ones are smart, they will leap to denounce this stupidity.

Tell me more about the "ambiguity" of the image I posted.

Scrub, no one should, or is, comparing the peaceful Civil Rights Movement to these assholes protesting now because they're upset about the election.

The Civil Rights Movement was a legitimate movement to right the wrongs of society, not a bunch of snowflakes throwing hissy fits because they hate Trump.

To even compare the two is degrading.

And you know I was joking about the comments I made about the pic.

(I sure hope that sweet dog wasn't harmed by that crazy black man.)

man it is a blast isn't it?

Just met wife for lunch at a place. Had a guy late 50's with two women had to be in their 60's. most probably government employees.

Guy was not talking super loud but loud enough where i could hear but boy was he melting! talked about trump being a mean bully and how jared kushner was a bag man for trump. How trump was reversing all obama's good things. How trump hung up on the australian PM. fox news, blah blah blah.

So then i started up. Plenty loud enough for him to hear like the pussy snowflake he was chatting among his libtard brethren. HEy i can hardly wait for my lower taxes to kick in along with lower corporate taxes and regulations to help economy. Obama messed it up so bad. record debt, spending, number on food stamps, regulations, unaffordable healthcare, open borders, worst recovery since 40's, worst homeownership in 50 years, lowest labor participation rate since 70's, etc.

Dude finally STFU. it was so quiet you could hear a rat pissing on a cotton swab. all emotion based drivel. no rebuttal to facts or evidence. typical libtard.

no critical thinking skills, no ability to call out his own, no perpsective, rationality or objectivity.

I almost fell out my chair from laughing.

Said this in another thread, but I'm pretty moderate and think both parties can be fundamentally flawed on certain issues. I didn't vote for Trump (or Hillary for that matter). That said, the way the left has acted the past few months is pushing me to more and more to the right. The two parties definitely handle themselves differently in the face of adversity, that's for sure. It's gotten so bad I don't even want to associate with anyone on the left right now. They've become so irrational and hypocritical, it's impossible to have a conversation with them. Hopefully cooler heads will prevail and both parties can figure out a way to make this work, but one side is definitely making that a harder reality right now.

Didn't they blow up a car, block people from getting where they want, kick women out of the women's match, and punch various people?
