I’m gonna be completely honest here. During the 2016 election, I thought he was a total joke. He was like the Washington Generals to Hillary’s Globetrotters. I was jaded with the Republican Party, and switched from Independent to Republican just to vote for him in the primary because I was eager to see the party collapse and rebuild. Then incredibly - he won.
Really at that point I was waiting for us to be at war with someone immediately. But this dude then went on a winning tear like I’d never before seen. No wars. Economy firing on all cylinders. Complete fairness in foreign trading. Pulling out of unfair, one sided treaties. It was like a dream. My economic situation was at an all time high. Business was great. The market was great.
Then Covid happened.
My support still lies with this guy and watching the machine line up to stop him, democrats AND republicans, it just strengthens my resolve. I don’t hate Desantis but he’s a tool of the establishment to me. Maybe he pulls away from those corrupting him and he’ll gain my support. But being in any allegiance to the GOP I knew under Bush will never, ever happen again. If Ron (at least in his current state) is the nominee, I’ll return to my independent, former Republican roots.
Only time will tell.
Trump 24. And if it’s necessary, Trump 28.
That is at its core why Ron should get out of the way for now. Guess we’ll see.

And look at what they did to stop him.
This is what should settle any and all debates as to who the nominee should be (I like RDS) but there will be quibbling and the Dim will stroll into the White House.
