A lot of the North Korean people are just as batshit as lil Kim. Literally think he's a god. I honestly don't think SK or China would even want to try and straighten those people out.

I've been watching a lot of youtube videos about North Korean defectors and the population is more aware than people think. There's a huge underground industry for Western media on USB drives.

The same thing is happening in N. Korea today with smart phones. They're being traded across the border.
There's also a documentary about a N. Korean propaganda artist who defected to China. His first night in China, when he saw all the streetlights on, thought, "If they're afraid of the dark, what are they trying to hide?" Pretty profound statement.
