Other countries are expected to follow with their suits.

Mexico is suing multiple major US gun makers, accusing them of negligent business practices that allegedly spawned illegal arms flows over the border, resulting in rampant violence and numerous Mexican deaths.
quote:
The landmark lawsuit was brought before the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts on Wednesday.
quote:
The suit alleges that units of top US gun makers, including Colt, Smith & Wesson, Barrett, Glock, and Ruger, indulged in negligent business practices and knew their activities produced illegal arms trafficking in Mexico.
quote:
The country is now seeking an eye-watering sum of $10 billion in damages, with the lawsuit not only designed to reap hefty compensation, but also to prompt the implementation of standards to “monitor and discipline” the gun making companies, Mexico’s Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said.
quote:
The minister also said the state believes the US government, which is not implicated in the lawsuit, is willing to work together with Mexico

Mexico can screw themselves .

Only if we can sue them for drug trafficking and illegal immigration.

Wouldn't this be like Saudi Arabi suing the Catholic Church in the United States for promoting Christianity?
Asking for a friend here, if this were the case than every country could sudo regulate in the United States.
How exactly is Mexico damaged?

We are importing enough of their citizens that we just as well take them over . This way at least we’d have a smaller border to stand around with fingers up our asses

1. Sounds like Mexico should secure its border better.
2. The 2nd Amendment protects the 2nd Amendment.

Can we file a counter claim for all of the illegals that are pouring in her as well as all the drugs that flowed in for the last 50 years?

They should be suing Obama. His "justice" department ran guns over the border.

It's not our fault that Mexico is barely functioning as a
country since the day it was formed.

Think they're going to have some issues with standing to sue here
Posted on 8/4/21 at 4:55 pm to LuckyTiger
So, it is gunmakers’ fault that the cartels have weapons?
Who armed the Zetas? Hint - Not Colt. It was the Mexican government before the Zetas went rogue.

Curiously, gun banning Mexico has a very high homicide rate. Look at El Paso compared to Juarez. They are literally the same twin city divided only by the Rio Grand. However, El Paso typically has a homicide rate of 2/100,000 while Juarez runs in the 130/100,000 range.
Disarming the good people and having a deeply corrupted criminal justice system doesn't work.
