Well they can bitch all they want, but Johnson is the best they’re gonna get. They are playing a weak hand and have to take their victories where they can find them. These “let’s shut down the government” showdowns never work.

The party is clearly broken and is on the verge of not being salvageable. Too many of us know we have been sold out and the model no longer works. I don’t trust the republicans any more than I do the democrats, because I think they’re on the same team.

But the GOP has a commanding 1 vote majority right now. They can get anything passed that they want.
Reality is that we can't afford to have another speaker's race because 1 vote means we can have one GOP congressman who is actually a democrat switch sides and then the Biden Admin is off to the races.

Wouldn't matter.
People today are only interested in sledge hammer politics and any compromise must be met with political destruction.
But I agree with most. I do not think this band of Republicans want to be in charge nor actually change anything. Save for a very few of them, they are all just puppets for the Washington Uniparty.
