What if this entire thing is an epic masterpiece by the CIA to have a guy on the inside collecting intel for 5 years?

The COnstitution doesn't grant rights.

I'm not really even sure what your statement means.

Why doesn't anyone communicate in complete sentences anymore?

You can't really know if his act qualifies as desertion without knowing his side. Desertion requires intent to leave permanently.

He violated his first general order.

Desertion, under all circumstances, requires intent to remain away permanently - or its not desertion. It could be AWOL or missing a movement - but it isn't desertion without intent to leave permanently.

Sorry.

Facts have been laid out. You choose to ignore them because they embarrass your dear leader.

Watching a documentary on D Day on History right now, and to think in 70 years we have digressed to where we are today, including having a President welcome home a deserter and claiming him to be a distinguished soldier.

This country has changed so much for the worse in 70 years.

Sorry.

I never said it was the same thing. I said he violated his first general order. Unless you believe he was abducted in the middle of the night.

I'm not a "grammar" police. When I criticise you for using incomplete sentences, its not because I care about grammar or I'm trying to be mean - I just want to be able to understand the thoughts you are trying to communicate to me.

Bergdahl wasn't a fallen comrade.

He was a deserting traitor.

Yes and those guys are almost all gone. Once they are dead, I wouldn't be surprised if history revisionist try and skew their accomplishments.
