The difference is how Ebola is reported in the UK compared to America

The UK? Isn't that where the media and ekected officials covered up and excused Islamist rape gangs for years because they didn't want to hurt the fragile feelings of the rapists?
PC can be a very dangerous thing.
So can getting your news from comedy shows.......which evidently is a liberal trait on both sides of the pond.

the media makes money on viewership. So every hurricane is the worst, all foods and drinks give you cancer, all diseases will kill us all and Global Warming will kill all the Penguins or is a vast left wing conspiracy and a hoax.
25 years ago my journalism teacher warned against flash and trash journalism when it wasnt near what it is today. There was s time when the MSM reported news out of public interest and left sensationalism for the tabloids. No more. That all ended with OJ and Monica.

AIDS won't kill most people either. I guess we should stop spending money on measures to prevent the spread of HIV, and researching medicines to prevent the disease from being deadly. It's nothing to worry about since it won't affect people who don't put themselves at risk.

Who said anything about cutting off funds for treatment and cures? We survived about 10,000 deaths from Swine Flu 5 years ago in this country without this stupidity. I think we're good.

Yup. The same UK that boasts it's universal healthcare coverage but does not count infant deaths and elderly deaths in their healthcare statistics.
The same UK that does not report wait times for simple dr. appointments.

Actually, if you'll recall, the same hand-wringers over ebola today are precisely the same lot who warned us that swine flu and swine flu vaccinations were a big-government body-grab by Obama and his cronies.
