Racism would be saying the judge can't do the job of being a judge because Hispanics are intellectually, emotionally, and in all other ways inferior to white Caucasians. That's a little different than saying the judge has a predetermined bias.

Here's Trump, in his own words, being given opportunity after opportunity to walk back or clarify his original comments about the Mexican judge. Not only does he not do that he actually doubles down on it saying the judge should recuse himself solely on the basis of his Mexican heritage

Mexican is still not a race, and frankly as long as liberals consider "hispanic" to be a specific set of political ideals and not an intellectually diverse group of people; as long as liberals push for hispanics to be appointed to judicial positions or elected to political seats to reflect those political ideals correctly; Trump has every right to assume a hispanic judge might not treat him fairly. Just as black teen might fear a white police officer won't treat him fairly.

I don't know you personally. I know a lot of conservatives though, an I honestly understand their world view and I honestly believe the policies they support will be harmful to most Americans, even though they believe they are simply defending "traditional values"
