But they continue to ignore when asked if trump is like Hitler, how many citizens has he killed so far?

I personally love the Hitler comparisons because it's an obvious sign to not take a person serious at all. Like EthanL's thread. What a deranged loon.

Unwarranted comparison from empty heads.

It is just more data to prove Godwin's law.

Now while the Hilter comparisons are silly (like a LOT of crap from both sides these days) there are parallels like each rose to power through a nationalist and populist movement. It doesn't help that the white nationalists embrace him, though they embrace him because they thought they heard a dog whistle from him, which I wholly feel was simple lack of precision in language. President Trump is not one to turn a vote away on principle and frankly is the first US president that could get away with it, good on him... I guess.

I'd wager that most people that compare Trump to Hitler wouldn't know Buchenwald from Disneyland.

They are all as dumb as a sack of pig dicks.

Those people are stupid.

Now a better comparison would be goofy from disney.

Well, I don't think Hitler killed any citizens during his first 8 months in office. So you could say tRump is locked in (goose) step with his fuhrer-hero.

i was called a Nazi a few days ago by a guy who i used to talk about forming a PAC to push for MJ legalization with

he also knows i'm 100% a guy who wants a smaller government

so i'm a guy who wants a smaller government so...Nazis can talk over and form an authoritarian government?

let's let that sink in

No, what they fail to take into account is the fact that Trump has no ideology. He's a Silvio Berlusconi type character, nothing more.

i largely agree, as do many progs when it's convenient

it's just like how they yelled "Bush orchestrated 911" while they also claimed he was a complete idiot

hell, Trump doesn't even have his "dick cheney" in Bannon around anymore and he's still orchestrating a Nazi future

that promoting the "thought police" is a bad policy that is scary. i posted the end of the exchange on here (and you saw it/posted)

it was the "let's stop saying everyone has the right to an opinion" discussion

i do love how today the same people who want to use the government to silence speech were fully supporting the "right to speech/protest" today. i suppose that people need to start saying that kneeling at NFL games is a form of violence to their subjective perceptions and, voila, there is a justification to shut it down

Do you also love that the same people who lectured everyone about free speech during the Nazi march are now flipping the frick out about NFL players not standing?

i've never been a conservative or Republican due to those people. the odds they're religious authoritarians is high, as well

however, there is a difference in saying that speech should be outlawed or violence is justified in response to speech and disliking a form of speech (and responding with speech alone). that's the crucial difference

now if those people are arguing that conservative extremists should be allowed to go on the field and threaten players, then it would be comparable

What is given no thought when those comparisons are made is that Hitler could never have been Hitler in the US, so really its not to be taken seriously. (Can you imagine Hitler trying to get rid of all the Jews in NY City?)

I think you can admit there has been hypocrisy on both sides.
