OK, everyone on the left WANTS it to be the Russians, many still believe it was...

A lot can be said for it being Hillary's fault.

But I think there is one man who deserves all of the credit, or the ire/blame.

That man is Mitch McConnell of Kentucky. His decision to block the nomination of Merrick Garland gave "main stream Republicans" that might otherwise have sat this one out a reason to get motivated; especially the suburban Republican women that were otherwise somewhat put off by Trump.

If you are a lib, your anger should be at the Senate Majority Leader.

Those of us on the right should be drinking to the man's health. A fine Senator from an SEC state - Rand Paul is also a a champion for the people - Kentucky represents well!

I think it was a combination of Hillary being a shitty candidate and her having to keep going left because of Bernie. The Dems have just gone so far left it's turning away the people that take the time to vote from their party.

McConnell's strategy was dicey to say the least. And we've now seen the new norm--any time you have the Senate and the Presidency under different parties, the President can forget about getting a SCOTUS nominee (or maybe ANY judicial nominee for that matter) through the Senate.

The U.S. Media

They pushed Trump through the primaries initially until he gained momentum, and then he carried it the rest of the way.

Hillary Clinton

She was absolutely one of the worst candidates ever to run for president.

If you want to narrow it down to one thing, it was Obamacare.

Trump won by about 70,000 votes in PA, a state with a population of 12.6 million. Their premiums went up over 30%.

You just need one half of one percent of the state's population to stay home - or a quarter of a percent to ditch I'm With Her for MAGA - and you turned a blue state red. You had well over that number get screwed by Ocare.

Add in MI and WI and the blue firewall collapses.

Hillary helped. Obama helped. Also, the middle class belief that trump really can help us helped. Is he really on our side or for himself and his 1% class???? Really, do we know or were we duped? Facts? Anyone have real facts either way?

Not a single MAGA I know credited him or even mentioned him leading up to Nov.

If McConnell, I'll take the gift. It is now time to get rid of the useful idiot.
