I get out a lot you clod. And I have never met anyone who howled with glee over any player kneeling in the end zone. Nor held up any sort of John, Jack, Mac, Jimmy or Joe sign. I just learned that the Star Spangled Banner has only been the official National Anthem of the US since 1931. Not even 100 years.
Can we not just write a new one that everybody likes?

No worries... the only other nations recognized within the borders of the contiguous 48 are all natives who have their own governments on reservations, by treaty.
That’s it. There’s no recognized “Nation of Islam” apart from America. It’s just marketing. If they choose, they can denounce their citizenship and be detained until they find a country to take them, just like every other immigrant. No land, no nation. Ask “Palestinians.”

As I said. The lyrics are not the problem. I actually like the lyrics. It’s the fact of it being called the Black national anthem that is disgusting and racially divisive. It’s an insult to everyone, including black people as it paints the picture that blacks are disenfranchised from America and so need their own national anthem, and while that supports the perverted narrative the race stirrers are trying to convey, it does nothing but divide people and keep them divided. Who doesn’t agree with that? The absolute worst opinion the Supreme Court ever handed down was banning the death penalty for child rape. If you gave me one decision to overturn, that’s the one I’d pick.
