Nah, man. CNN and the NYT are just right wing shills. You need to come up with some legitimate sources to back up your points.

If you're talking about health insurance pre-ACA, "just about everyone" means something very different in this language than in whatever one you've come from.

The ACA has "insured" 16M more people at a direct cost of $300B per year while destroying an already damaged health insurance market for over 250M. So yeah. Y'all fricked up.

Even I posted two links.

One a forbes link, and nobody should take their ad-blocker off to visit that site. Full of malware - what's it say?

The second is a CNN Money article that talks about known deficiencies in the individual exchange for those not receiving subsidies. Hardly a reason to blow the entire marketplace/system up, rather than tweak it.

Next, liar?

You have no clue where I'm coming from, which is fine. Even if you did, you would twist it to fit your narrative, so what's the point?

I didn't vote for DJT, but I, like millions of Americans who didn't support DJT, are relieved you and your ilk are taking big steps back....

Cannot wait for the day your kind are irrelevant again. Can. Not. Wait.

Destroying how? Insurers are seeing record sign-up, good profits (some are not).

At the same time re-admissions are down and HAIs are down. Private insurance costs are even cheaper, and rising on a per-insured rate the slowest we've seen in a long time.

Or do you mean destroying as in "making Republicans look bad?"

Stop, your time would be better-spent learning about the issue. Only someone who has no knowledge of the system would claim that pre-ACA the health insurance system was working for 'just about everyone'.

Yes! I love this.

Demean those who have to pay for you and your ilk's shitty life choices. Keep it up!!

I doubt this "idiot" wanted this to happen to him and his family. Chances are good his "loud voice" didn't put him in this situation....YOURS DID.

Keep this up too. I love it. Let everyone know who your enemy is. Mocking them while you hold your hand out for their money.

Please keep doing this.

Re-admissions being down is one of the few good things the ACA has done. It will be interesting to see the shifts in LTC as Medicare A changes hit their profit margins.

Private insurance costs aren't cheaper. Costs aren't going down. And rates are slowing because insurance is unusable. The average deductible today versus 2008 is what?

I've forgotten more about our healthcare system and insurance market than you will ever know. You are a lying liar.

The rate of increase has slowed, and they're not unusable in the sense that more people think that they can't see a doctor due to cost (see previously posted chart).

Deductibles definitely need to be looked at - which, again, is no reason to blow up the entire system.

Do you think individuals' issues with the law should be poo pooed because the aggregate says something different? Just throw everything into the aggregate, spew out a data point, and all is well?

Under that logic, can't I say that America is an absolutely amazing country with no income issues, considering American GDP/capita is among the highest in the world?

Health care spending has slowed, not insurance costs. The reason health care spending has decreased is because so many people are doing exactly what the OP is doing. Not going to the doctor, even though they need to.

The rate of increase in premiums has slowed because benefit structure has drastically shifted the cost back to the payor. Making insurance inaccessible except for cases of extreme need.

Break your leg? You're paying that shite out of pocket. And the next time you break your leg, too, this year. Because your deductible is $7500.

UH, yeah. It is a perfect reason to blow it up when the middle class on a large scale is getting raked over the coals in a huge money transfer. Not surprised you'd think that would only need "tweaks."

Of course not. But when an individuals' experience is vastly different than the aggregate, maybe we shouldn't blow the whole thing up to help the individual at the expense of the aggregate.

The aggregate is a cluster. It will be repealed within 45 days. Thankfully.
