Sens. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn.;

Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va.;

Susan Collins, R-Maine;

Dean Heller, R-Nev.;

John McCain, R-Ariz.;

Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska;

Rob Portman, R-Ohio,

joined all Democrats to defeat the amendment, which would have given Congress two years to devise a replacement to the 2010 Affordable Care Act.

In 2015, all but Collins, voted to repeal. WHAT CHANGED?

These people hold the responsibility for the failure to restore order to our economy and to our tax code.

"Skinny" (these terms?!) was not the solution. The solution was full repeal, then repair properly.

Wow. That's all I've got. Good morning.

What changed is that we now have a republican president who would actually sign what they send to him

As a Tennesseean I will do everything in my power to prevent the dishonest Lamar Alexander from ever holding office again.

Yeah, he's entrenched with his plaid shirt and his healthcare donor-dollars so that's going to be tough. Godspeed.

They knew Obama wasn't gonna sign shite and I think a lot of em were up for reelection in '16. Just using it for political points to say to their constituents "Hey! We're Conservatives too!" frick em.

Need to primary ALL their asses including McConnell and Ryan. frick em.

They couldn't do it in 7, so why does anyone think they'll manage it in 2?

Correct. This is not about medical insurance. This is about control, power, and tax revenue to help stem the rising costs of their poor decisions over the past 30 yrs.

They all lied. They thought HRC would win so they could all immediately pass a repeal bill that she would, of course, veto. Then they could continue bitching about it for 4 more years and collecting campaign contributions off of it.

Pretty amazing how a Republican President suddenly makes republicans a lot more honest huh?

Trump winning has exposed a lot in the rotten GOP and that they're all grifters.

Alexander had a statement on his Senate website that he thinks the entire health insurance system is going to collapse at any moment - as we know the individual market in Tennessee is damaged beyond repair. He didn't think we had 2 years to fix it and that the "skinny repeal" was basically no repeal at all. Most of which I agree with.

What I don't agree with and what exposes him, and the entire GOP, is that his proposed solution is to "go back to committee" and continue working on a repeal and replace solution. frick YOU. You've had 7 years to sit on your committee and fix this shite. You've voted to defund or repeal something like 23 times. Get the frick out of here with that bullshite you lying fraud. You want to trap this shite in committee so you can campaign on it in your GOP +15 state for as long as possible you smarmy frick.

Typical Trumpkin. Blaming the wrong people.

Give me a list of Republican governors who celebrated last night.

I didn't see any governors voting last night, or previously on the Senate floor. So what does that make you, typically speaking of course?
