it didn’t use to be this way, somewhere in the 90's republicans decided on politics of personal destruction as they went after the Clintons

Wait. The GOP started the politics of personal destruction? Really? That senile old hag really believes that? It wasn't the Clintons? Wow.

Nancy Pelosi is brain damaged. She still think Bush is President?

Have to hand it to Dems, they know how to politicize tragedies and also take advantage of the GOP not politicizing them.

The Dems are core fakes; just like that 'prayer vigil' photo op while Scalise was bleeding out. Hell, the Dems were fine with taking the very word 'God' out of their Convention Platform in '12, until Obama stepped in and virtually strong-armed the Floor. He knew it was fatal. I remember it well...they virtually IGNORED the vast majority screaming form the bleachers. Funny then...until you view some hypocritical and sanctimonious, politically-calculated photo op. Screw Pelosi and her dogs.

She probably can't quite remember what happened yesterday, and needs her daily dose of bashing President Bush.

I'd chalk this up to dementia if she did not have such a long record of lying.

The Dems were the architects of this in the 80s/early 90s (Robert Bork ring a bell? Clarence Thomas?). The Clintons put in on steroids when they haunted the White House.

frick that c.u.n.t.

Historically, you could go as far back to Andrew Jackson in 1828, where his campaign accused Adams of "surrendering an American serving girl to the appetites of the Russian czar", and the gambling devices in the white house, which turned out to be a chess set and a pool table. (Note that Adams did some mudslinging of his own as well.)

YOu can go back further than that. YOu can go back to Alexander Hamilton who both spread rumors about his political rivals, and was the victim of such gossip himself.

Nancy Pelosi doesn't have a fricking clue what she is talking about here, as usual.
