There has to be a vetting system. If you have a safe, effective alternative to years-long case studies that research the efficacy and potential pitfalls of a drug, I'm all ears.
Is that what you think the FDA does?
The FDA is an instrument through which taxpayers' money is funneled to, and power consolidated among large pharmaceutical companies. Successful new treatments developed by entities outside of the highly political pharma network that threaten the big money patents are supressed, discredited or stolen.
For a sickening example of this, watch the documentary "Burzynski". It shows the outrageous lengths the FDA will go to to protect big pharma. Whether his treatments work or not, you will see the main function and motives of the FDA. It will turn the objective viewer's stomach. Watch the whole thing and let me know what you think.
