Texas will now have 2 members of RINO Team 6: Luttrell and Crenshaw

Luttrell had such a lead in funding and name recognition, it didn’t matter that the numerous debates he did showed he was honest about his moderate policies. It didn’t matter because so many republicans saw the name, and thought trigger pulling in a wetsuit made you the best choice to write legislation.
I hate voters.
I hate voters.

Its sad that people in the limelight are so pulled towards the left. We need more farmers, carpenters, accountants, firefighters, etc in DC. Less lawyers and career military.

If you don't like the candidates and their direction you can always run and do what they won't do.
But that will take a little more effort than complaining on the internet.

The candidates you see on the Ballots for federal office are all appointed, funded, and managed by the money that lobby's congress. Some "mom and pop" candidates are able to sneak in from districts that the lobbyist orgs allow, but those are strategically allowed so they can have a target to use as a distraction and media villain.
The political parties are the gatekeepers that the lobbyist use to manage who is allowed to make it through an election.

End of thread. If ever around SW GA look me up and I’ll buy you a cold one.

So many people are fooled by RINOs. They are worse than Dems if you ask me.

It's that federal printing press. The military doesn't make money, missile makers don't make money, million dollar bombers and fighters don't make money. They need federal spending. The same is also true of farmers, a lot of carpenters, firefighters, etc. As long as some form of federal money is involved - and it has its tentacles in every level of life - it's going to be hard to find truly conservative politicians.

Did anyone really believe Nick Saban would have allowed a real conservative to speak to his players?

Money talks baw. Office mate of mine went to school with Luttrell. I'm surprised he won though considering he didn't have all that many ads here.

RINO and DINO shite is so stupid.
Why does anyone want someone to vote strictly on their party lines?!? I get some stuff like the sham impeachment.
But geez, it’s ok to be a moderate. This country is going to shite thanks to staunch democrats and staunch republicans

You can make 75k right out of college with no experience and well over six figures in under five years if you’re decently competent. No one worth electing is giving that up.

Luttrell won on his brothers name, plain and simple

Maybe there aren’t enough voters in the pure right to pull them over the finish line. You need 50% plus one vote.

Why would any normal person subject themselves to the masses of idiots tearing their life apart while dissecting every little thing they say?
Posted on 3/2/22 at 9:37 am to cokebottleag
Maybe, just maybe most Republican voters are not nihilistic reactionaries like many on this board.

Depends on what you are calling "Moderate"
That generally means compromising something.
