I can't wait for him to be called out for the Skittles reference

They will just get another republican elector. No big deal.

Yeah, I was making no comment to the Christian aspect of that. I just seriously want to know what that means.

just quitting is weak.

Gov can probably appoint a rubber stamp.

I consider myself a devout Christian... I at least 'talk the talk' if maybe I don't always 'walk the walk'.

But these sort of people are killing us. We get painted with the same brush as these people just like we paint all Democrats with the same brush as the loonie protestors.

They can't see the forest for the trees. You want to see someone "Biblically unqualified" to be a leader, look no farther than King David. Good thing this guy wasn't around back then.

I would respect his decision too if he returns all of the money he's been paid to do his job.

In many states, the Governor can appoint someone to fill the vacated presidential elector position.

I checked, the Bible didn't seem to reference Presidential Qualifications. Maybe it's in the Apocrypha?

That would be the Deuterocanonical books, and 'no'... nothing there about Presidential Qualifications either!

Texas is full of these people. This is why Trump only won by 6% here, and why I don't want us to secede.

Sounds very un-Evangelical.

Do we really want adults that talk and think like this in office anyway?

Why not? Leaders can have a diverse range of thought and belief. Al Gore was Vice President at one time.
