Tell me why I should hate John Bolton as SoS.

I'm having a hard time. Every time I listen to the guy he sounds incredibly knowledgeable and competent about foreign and State Department affairs. I'm having trouble disliking this guy.
I know he as a neocon past but was that because he was surrounded by neocons like Cheney? Is it fair to project those past neocon tendencies under Trump?
I see a potential Trump/Bolton relationship like a Reagan/Daddy Bush relationship on foreign policy. I don't see it as a GWB/Cheney relationship.

He is a textbook neocon. He still thinks Iraq was a rousing success. He also wants military action in Iran and NK. He makes Dick Cheney look like Bernie Sanders.

You shouldn't.
Bolton wold make an excellent SoS, The hard transition will be the fact that he doesn't get on his knees and suck dick like Swift Boat Kerry. These foreign dictators have gotten used to fricking our diplomats in the arse over the last 8 years. It's going to be a bitter pill for them to swallow for a while. They're going to actually have to bring something to the negotiating table too from now on.
