Politico reporting they are trying to bury the hatchet?
Twitter is all in on #FireKushner
Bannon lobbied against the strikes in Syria

Bannon vs Son in Law.
Not hard to figure out how this ends.

#TeamKushner all the way. He and Ivanka are liberal Democrats.

As a black Jew, I'm entitled to say that the Jew boy needs to go.

I'm Team Kushner.
But I identify as being a fiscal conservative/social liberal. I'm 34 years old.
I can imagine me agreeing more with Kushner in these behind the scenes debates. Relating more to him and Ivanka.
Bannon has too big a hard on when it come to beating the democrats at everything.

If he was the only one on that counsel that was telling trump not to do the strikes then he definitely needs to stick around.
How do you learn as a leader just having everyone in the same room with the same opinion and agreement all the time?
Just because bannon opposed this move doesn't mean he should go.
He threw out his opinion, trump made his decision.
As for Kushner its so obvious at this point his gunning for a political job in the near future. He needs to be in check though because Donald will eventually disagree with one of his choices down the line.

Supporting Bannon here.
At least Bannon has proven to be supportive of conserve policies and expressed desire to destroy the administrative and regulatory state.
I don't trust Kushner as he's described himself as having no political mooring at all and has displayed no indication that he supports conservative policies.
Good for him.

Can they both go?
Kushner seems unqualified, beyond maybe a business centric role.
Bannon, on the other hand, may actually be qualified (his education and experience is fascinating), and he is quite a fascinating person, who is probably the smartest person around Trump. HOWEVER, I think his personality is the wrong fit, and I think it's too personal for him, expecially given his emotional volatility.
I just think there has to be someone who can contrast Trump's personality and demeanor whole commanding his respect, when when they disagree, yet still constructively identifying and working on the best parts of Trump's agenda (e.g., taxes, regulation, etc.).

Democrats are a vile party that went all in on racial identity politics and only supports job/economy killing taxes and red tape that strangles economic growth and energy independence and wants to import terrorists and immigrants that suck our welfare.

Bannon is a political genius, but he has botched a lot of stuff bigly. He's not getting it done.

quote:Which is a good thing, but I think Bannon wants to destroy more than the bloatedness of government. In fact, I wonder if he's often set on destroying, and the regulatory state itself isn't that important, except that it's something to destroy.

Bannon may go down in history as one of the more unique and intelligent individuals of any modern administration. There just seems to be some deep issues (the housing crash and the impact on his father), that dimishes the potential he has to use that effectively.

I want them both to stay.
Trump trusts both men and he needs to keep Bannon and Kushner articulating different view points.

Any Bannon related reading you can recommend? Ive read Revolt of the Elites and am reading the Fourth turning, both of which are allegedly influentional to him.

I think she'd smell delicious. Like a pink starburst.
