I haven't really followed this and have only seen a 1 minute bit of a video the dad made - comes across as a total freak. Not sure though if that is from the stress of the son in captivity.

I don't really get why they would put the family in TV. Was that their request? This whole thing makes no damn sense.

Well I read your link and the "valued guest" comment isn't the least bit bizarre. Pretty standard "we treated him well" comment.

Yesterday someone linked some far right page by someone named Pat Dollard. When I clicked it, every conservative conspiracy wacko theory popped up. It was like a collection of looney tunes. Including this one. It's like if someone collected every unfounded email ever sent out and put it on one site that's how it would look.

Just heard on Face the Nation...that an agreement with Qatar (who will take the Guantanamo Bay Islamists) that the terrorists won't be able to leave Qatar "for a year"...and guarantees that they won't hit the front pages for being back in the terror business until AFTER THE ELECTION...just plays like an old movie! 
If real people's lives weren't in the balance...this would be better than a Three Stooges or Monty Python episode. Predictably funny, and bizarrely entertaining.

I did a quick read through all of your posts on the Taliban swap threads and not once have you offered your thoughts about the issue.
You've only cracked on the thoughts of others and talked about Reagan.

Obama only knew there were serious, serious questions about Bergdahl when he saw it on the news yesterday.
