Taiwan is not a legitimate country nor the government of China

Taiwan is a joke under it's current government. It's a small piece of China. It's where the KMT went after the Chinese Civil War. The best policy is to recognize the PRC and Communist Party of China as the only government of China and work with the KMT (the Nationalists) in Taiwan to work toward some reunion like Hong Kong or Macau.
We've all ready made our choice in working with the PRC and CPC. We can negotiate a reunion between the province of Taiwan and the mainland where we give the KMT one-party status on Taiwan as part of a China. It's that simple really and what is best for Asia.
The KMT and CPC share many similar goals and we can work toward the KMT governing Taiwan as part of China.

It's a simple solution allow the KMT to govern Taiwan while part of the PRC. The KMT is the only party that is worth talking to about the PRC and Taiwan. Let the CPC and KMT work out a reunion.

Someone needs to explain to me why the communist gang running China, which gained control by murdering millions of people, is legitimate but the freely elected government of Taiwan is not.
