The people on this board have a lot of opinions regarding Muslim immigrants/refugees. Perhaps some of you could share some of your personal experiences?

“I hated Muslims,” he said.
For years, Dutcher’s neighbors were meth addicts and rowdy alcoholics. Slobs. In June, a Syrian family who spoke no English moved in. Another family moved in after that, then another. Now there are six.
Soon enough, Dutcher said, empty bottles in the hallway were replaced with children’s bicycles. The loud arguments of a drug-addicted couple were replaced by the sounds of children’s laughter.
“The Muslims here were all about family and they just loved everyone,” Dutcher said. “I remember the people who lived here before; they took for granted everything this country gave them. These people, they really changed my heart.”

Calm before the storm.
How are they assimilating? Are they learning English? Do they have jobs?
There's a little more to assimilating than not raping the neighborhood goat.

So no visiting the neighbors and discussing Cornhusker football.

Better than the actual storm, Dutcher would probably tell you.

Perhaps you could post one of your own first? Or are you one of the meth head former tenants?

We love our anecdotal evidence, don't we folks.
Let me check google and see if I can find some anecdotal evidence to the contrary.
I guess our choices are white trash meth heads or peaceful muslims. That's it. Nothing else.

1st generation muslims are assimilating well in a majority western society where they have no say over the rest of western civilization?
I'm so shocked.
2nd Generation muslim are the problem in Europe and will likely be the problem here as well if we don't do everything we can to dodge that bomb. It's over when 3rd generation muslims get here.

i worked with some here that replicated the caste system within their org chart. Literally talked down to the once below them just because. Ordered them around like animals and only looked out for the betterment of themselves, not the group.
I also worked with some that didnt do that at all. So yes i have good and bad experiences with these type of people in a professional environment.

Can you tell us of some of your most memorable personal interactions with Muslims?

and this is what happens next
and this is what happens next
quote:
A million people from another culture, who practice another religion, who have no regard for women's rights and who believe that Western Society is decadent, who refuse to assimilate and don't believe they are bound by the laws of the host country, is a lot to turn loose on any society at one time, and New Year's Eve was just a small harbinger of things to come. Even if the troublemakers represent just 2 percent of the population of refugees, that is still approximately 20,000 people that can cause a lot of problems for Germany.
