My point is that if it starts happening at state universities, it isn’t “isolated”.

UNC is also having protests. That means Duke and NCST will join in.

But it will likely remain isolated to the universities, which is nothing like the BLM summer of 2020. It won't even be like OWS.

Won't be as big as 2020.. because these ones are antisemitic.

2020 ones were antiwhite and antipolice so they were encouraged by the high ups. These ones will fizzle out.

I don't see how burning the country down helps them this year. And these protestors have an uphill battle facing accusations of anti-semitism and the label of terrorist sympathizers.

Has commenced. 2020 was riots, 2024 will be Israel vs Palestine. Fortunately, seems to be in the same cities again. What are the odds?

Would be a gif to Trump. Many virtue signalers in 2020 no realize ho much they were manipulated and deceived as those riots in 2020 spawned the mayhem and lawlessness s since then .

Naw...you're dealing with a larger population of stakeholders this time, instead of a population who owned nothing and didn't care what they destroyed.

It’s happening everywhere. It’s just an extension of the BLM larping.

It won’t be long before the violence breaks out.

It's the same pack of communist insurrectionists.

Yes We had pro-Palestinian stuff at LSU after 911 This is SOP college stuff and has been since the 60s

I wonder where these young adults, attending college, with skulls full of mush get their inspiration for protesting all these perceived injustices? I wonder........hmmmmm? Probably their Boomer parents and grandparents, certainly not their college professors.

Where the people pulling their strings have to tread much more lightly on the issue being pushed.

That's the difference. It was easy for them to be all in on the "BLM larping" shite.

THIS isn't going in that direction because of that. They will try to find something else, but I have the feeling they are flailing in that regard and are just resigned to the continued stupid lawfare.

You do know those "Boomer parents" were the hippie generation, right? Who also supported a free Palestine after the 1967 war and Israeli "occupation"?

How many "Boomer parents" even have kids left in college?

Most will go home by or before Memorial Day when campus really shuts down....and the protestors have to get more money to feed themselves

Some sort of "break out" wouldn't surprise me, but I agree that a pro-Palestinian movement in the US has a pretty low ceiling and won't get enough traction to mimic 2020. It would have to evolve into a bigger/different topic. Other than a racially tinged shooting (so complete copy of 2020), it's hard to see what could work.
