I addressed this in yesterday's thread. I don't think the police excessive force and poor performance is a race thing but instead a class issue. Where the poorest are policed the hardest

The poorest are the class of people committing criminal crimes. It's somewhat logical that the most desperate class are the ones participating in crimes. The police are there to police criminal acts. So you agree the police go where the crimes are?
You can say that the middle class and upper class commit crimes (I may not agree on most of those), but the crimes you'd accuse them of are civil and police do not manage civil cases.

Per capita, the poor commit more violent crimes.
Local PD won't get a 911 call about embezzlement.
They will get called for domestic abuse.
Most poor people are poor due to poor life decisions and the inability to delay gratification. It's no wonder this same demographic also commits large amounts of violent crime.

Blacks are more likely to be stopped by the police (either due to higher rates of criminal activity or profiling or a combination of the 2). Once an interaction with police has begun, though, whites are more likely to be shot.
