Also, what makes you so sure that a teacher would accurately shoot the gunman and not another student?

This is the among the worst arguments ever. All these shooters go around and manage to hit targets but innocent people attempting to protect themselves and others somehow couldn't hit the broad side of a barn?

How fricking stupid can you possibly be? That's the dumbest shite I've seen posted here in a while. You are dumb.

For the life of me I do not understand why you think firing a gun is so simple (is it because of the movies? It seems really simple in the movies does it not?) so simple and easy and what not.

I could be a high school teacher when I retire from my basic job. I would teach history and social studies, things I really care about.

You could pay me a million dollars and I would not walk around with a gun in the school. I'd be afraid I would drop if and shoot my (private part) off or at least my big toe.

Not every teacher wants to be Rambo, is willing to be Rambo or can be Rambo. I am scared of guns and I know I am not the only potential teacher to be like that.

It's not about fear, open carry denotes the presence of law and order, much like the old west 6 pointed sheriff badge. The public school kids that want to learn know that they can read their coloring books and watch movies in peace without fear of getting beat up or sold drugs by the knuckle heads

You're teaching kids that guns have power and I seriously doubt the threat of a kid getting beat up will be nullified by someone with a gun. That just isn't safe

leftists: "The kid who agrees with me is obviously correct, don't listen to the others"

rightists: "The kids who agrees with me is obviously correct, don't listen to the others"

Mom - How was your day at school John?

Son - Pretty cool. Mark threatened Mr. Jones with a gun so Mr. Smith put a gun to his head. Other than that, nothing special.

Mom - That's nice, now run off and play.

Yeah, that's a great way to live in 2018. Freak it probably wasn't this nuts in the Wild Wild West, why do some of you want this?

Have you never fired a gun before?

I bet I could make the liberals here more comfortable around guns. Just produce a series of instructional videos starring Richard Simmons

Yes fear as it turns out is a good motivator. But that's not the way that we should live our live

Interesting point. So you are against gun control?
