El Paso **, TX** (7th) has never had a Republican Mayor

Given that mayoral races in Texas are non-partisan (officially), how would anyone know?

Considering the demographics of El Paso, he may be right in that every El Paso mayor has been a Democrat (in terms of party affiliation), but I doubt Beck has really gone back and verified this.

Columbus Ohio has gone back and forth, but has been run by a Democrat(the same one, and he has had significant success) since 2000.

Before that it was run by three different republicans from 1972 on. Ohio is a true melting pot, and is a very interesting place to live, we have all kinds pretty equally dispersed here.

Didn't NYC have a Republican governor two times in a row.

Wait, Bloomberg isn't a Republican. Move on...

Want to see a kick arse modern city that is clean and low in crime that is also run primarily by liberals? Take a look at Seattle.

That place is booming right now. I've never seen a city with that much contruction activity going on at one time all over the place.

That's true. I love Seattle but would never live there because it's controlled by Dems. Nice place to visit though.

I can't wait for the $15 / hour to take full effect. Yes, that burger and fries comes to $17.50.
