I’m pretty sure LTC is pretty much the civilian equivalent to like a CEO or maybe for a small to midsize company.

Sloane touched on it.
I saw and read some articles about it because I thought the same thing. Problem is when the cops arrive the person living there says they leased it. The person who owns it says bullshite. And the cops say it is a civil matter take it up with the courts.
For all the cops know it could be his house, he is an ex and you are trying to get them to throw him in jail for trespassing in his own home.
And before some of you say, cops should ask for an id and look at the address, maybe he has a license with the address. But how would you like it if your ex showed up at your door with two cops demanding to see your id?
And no the cops cant go through the hassle of looking at someone's deed, they arent real estate lawyers.

Agreed. The mistake people make in these cases is calling the cops and creating a paper trail. Just get some buddies and toss the a-hole out, with force if necessary. If he complains to the cops just pretend you have no idea what some lunatic is talking about. “This is my house officer, I’ve never seen that guy before in my life.

TBH, this sounds like business as usual in the ATL.
Atlanta is a third world city. Just because there's some money there doesn't change that fact.

The Median home PRICE is 431k in Nov 2023.
quote:
The median family was already $9,000 short in August of the income needed to buy the median existing home, the association says, and the recent surge in rates since has moved another five million U.S. families below the qualification standard for a $400,000 loan, according to John Burns Real Estate Consulting. At 3% mortgage rates, 50 million households could get a loan that size. Now it's 22 million.
While an easing in treasury bond yields this week has brought the 30-year fixed mortgage back a shade below 8%, there is no quick fix.
The qualifying yearly income for a median-priced house in 2020 was $49,680. Now it's more than $107,000, according to the NAR. Redfin puts the figure at $114,627.
"[These are] stunning numbers that render house affordability even more challenging for too many American families, especially those looking to buy their first home," bond-market maven Mohamed El-Erian, an advisor to Allianz among many other roles, posted on X.
"It's a very worrisome development for America," NAR chief economist Lawrence Yun said.

If I came home from vacation and found one of these democrats squatting in my house, the last thing I’m going to do is report it to the police. Obviously there’s no record that this person was there so no reason anyone would come looking for them if they were to go missing.
The key to solving the problem is to be on offense. If you approach a squatter with the mindset of a law abiding citizen you’ll be a victim very quickly because that person doesn’t give a shite about the law. The squatter can’t shoot you if you shoot him first.

A literal shithole. Not sure why he would want to own anything there if he is a millionaire unless he is a slumlord?

The dude was living in her home while she was deployed according to the article.
Meaning he was living there for a while.
I don't know the exact laws, but I have seen this be an issue in other cities as well, in that a squatter somehow has rights.
Don't agree that they should, at all, but it's not the same as someone kicking your door in while you're home.
It is EXACTLY the same. Anyone breaking into your home is threatening your life.

That wouldn't be the case if we didn't have wild animals raised by no one but themselves completely ruining whole sections of habitable spaces in cities. It's nothing but supply and demand. When you shrink supply, demand goes up where it's habitable

This is what happens when you don’t have single families owning the homes. These corporations have bought up so many homes as rentals and there is no true tie to it.

One wee little problem with this, homey knows where you live, your family, etc. Once your dog dies, some stranger tells your child to tell Daddy hey, and your house burns down via arson which is not insured....yah might be sitting in that motel 6 rethinking your thoughts.

The most strident Leftists I personally know live in the Atlanta area. Everyone to the right of Pol Pot is a Nazi TrumpHitler storm trooper to them. I hope this is getting closer and closer to their enclaves. Let them have the world they are building.

I think you missed the part about "underground strip club on the premises". Those horses probably weren't just milling around.

There is some truth to your post, but Fulton is still fulton. There is a reason Milton, Roswell, and Buckhead having been trying for years to secede from Fulton. The 2020 defund the police movement made "young culture" brave.

Garbage, armpit of a city.
It's essentially Africa with skyscrapers.
They deserve this.
