At this point the White House is trying to cover up its involvement in the leak to Nunes.
I'd be very surprised if they crossed all their i's and dotted their t's here. Too many people slipped up and too many people know about it. This will be investigated and people could end up in jail.

Reading to much into it.
Basically, Nunes got intel, went to the right place in the WH and got help researching.
At least that's how it seems.

Why wouldn't that have been done last week? why the lack of transparency? Spicer had been denying it all week and as of recently as of yesterday, that they had no comment and were referring people to Devin Nunes office to seek answers.

You do realize that it is Nunes' JOB to investigate this stuff, right? How can it be a "leak" when Nunes is fully cleared to view the information?
