President-elect Trump is expected to pick Ronna Romney McDaniel as the next chairman of the Republican National Committee, two sources confirmed to the Washington Examiner on Friday evening.
McDaniel leads the Michigan Republican Party. She would replace RNC chairman Reince Priebus, who has been selected for White House staff as chief of staff.
McDaniel will attend Trump's "thank you" rally in Grand Rapids, Mich., later Friday, where the president-elect could announce the news. The RNC's 168 members will officially vote on whomever Trump chooses at their January meeting.
McDaniel is no stranger to the conservative political scene. She is the niece of 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney and is well-connected to Priebus.

I am not real sure HS.
I saw Uncle Lou was a bit irritated by it. Also about Rudy being out.

So Rudy is out because of his business dealing and because he was advocating for SOS? I wonder if the Reince/Ryan/Romney GOPe- gutted him out? I think Trump would have stuck with him---How bad was his business dealings anyway? Maybe Leonard Buckeye can tell me.

I googled the process of choosing the director and one link said Reince P. had something like five rounds of votes before being chosen.

Glad they chose someone who actually has experience running a party, as opposed to a Chris Christie.
