He ran about 15ft in 3seconds. That may be "fast" in your circles, but it is actually jogging speed.

It is the same guy. Hence the cut in the feed.

There is no cut from Drew running to guy in shorts...the camera just moves to the left. No possible way Drew ran that fast and is just standing there.

Drew is not the guy in the shorts. No possible way.

Seems plausible.

Would people be surprised if the CNN crew had matching rain jackets?

Man, I don't like CNN any more than the next guy.

But those are two different people. It doesn't take an expert to figure that out. The audio makes that perfectly clear that the reporter is running, and that the guy in the shorts is walking.

Yeah, don't be fooled by a website using a poor utilization of Photoshop to circle someone and adding a name.

I think it was two different guys. I wonder why the guy in the shorts didn't help pull the guy out of the water. He is no where to be seen in the final scene.

Good point. I wasn't even watching with sound. So there's even more proof. Of course the retards will just say they piped in that sound effect.

At least they could have rescued Don Lemon equating it to a miracle they just happened to be there.
Now that's news.

At 00:50 Drew Griffin (?) running toward man in truck. Note clothing.

Your own post answers it for you... it is clearly another person. You can hear Griffin still running when you see the cargo shorts dude. So there was another person there already at the truck helping the driver.

That said, why is he suddenly gone when they show griffin pulling the driver out of the ditch?

You can only have one hero and one sidekick. Cargo shorts had to gtfo.

The other guy, who is wearing a black jacket at the end of the video, is the guy wearing the red jacket and shorts earlier in the video? Is that your contention?

Yeah the final shot very well could have been set up.

No matter if you think another person in red was there or not really doesn't change how obviously staged this is for the very reason you mention.

As much as I love to shite on CNN (because they absolutely fricking deserve it), it's two different guys.

That said, that's about the weakest "rescue" I have ever seen.

No one is arguing it's staged. Even the people who think it's two different people think there's some forced drama.

Relax, little buddy

He's running and a split second later you see another guy standing in shorts. Pants guy wouldn't have already been standing in that position.

You know this probably wouldn't have been questioned or scrutinized like it has but CNN has a history of staging events.
