They are spoiled brats who didn't get what they wanted, so now they are pitching a fit. They were totally surprised because all they were hearing in their echo chambers were their own views, and now that reality has smacked them in the butt they can't handle it. They are disappointed to find out their illusion is as phony as their candidate turned out to be.

If I came across anyone in full meltdown mode, I'd ask what specific disasters are going to happen.
My most likely followup would be that I heard the same thing in 2004 and 2000 and 1988 and it didn't happen.
