I'm sure that the Islamic world would respond to this news:

Praise be to Allah, the Glorious and Beneficent. May Allah continue to cloak the eyes and minds of the Infidels of the West and the Jews so that his Muhajadeen can slaughter them and leave them for the feast of the the carrion and vultures.

As I said...bullshite. See above link . This myth of CIA creating AQ has been debunked for decades.

1-21-2016 Davos, Switzerland (CNN)Secretary of State John Kerry acknowledged to CNBC Thursday that some of the money Iran received in sanctions relief would go to groups considered terrorists.
When asked about whether some the $150 billion in sanctions relief to Iran would go to terrorist groups, Kerry reiterated that, after settling debts, Iran would receive closer to $55 billion. He conceded some of that could go to groups considered terrorists, saying there was nothing the U.S. could do to prevent that.
"I think that some of it will end up in the hands of the IRGC or other entities, some of which are labeled terrorists," he said in the interview in Davos, referring to Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps. "You know, to some degree, I'm not going to sit here and tell you that every component of that can be prevented."

The direct creation of the AQ by the CIA has always been a myth, but Operation Cyclone funneled hundreds of millions of dollars to Afghan Islamist militants through Pakistan's ISI. It was through ISI that many of those militants, both from Afghanistan and abroad, received training, monetary support, and weapons. In addition to this funding, there was Saudi support up until the Gulf War, and then private support through various groups. Operation Cyclone is not a myth, but it's overall effect can be argued. Nonetheless, the combination of US and Saudi money and direct ISI support gave impetus and organization to numerous Salafi groups in that time period.

LINK

From the leftist rag, Business Insider.

quote:

how sick are you that you can't see that Obama doling out that money to our enemy was not a good thing whatsoever.

Enemy? WTF? Has Congress declared war on Iran? Had Iran attacked us or our allies? Nope. The Necons and industrial military complex needs another boogeyman since Sadaam, Qaddafi, and ISIS are gone or failing.

We stole their money after they got rid of the gov’t that we imposed on them in an effort to control their oil wealth. I often wonder what political opinions people would have if someone had done that shite to us. Amazing.

quote:

never negotiiate with a terrorist, much less provide aid and comfort to them as Obama did. I don't care if we owe them money from two other lifetimes.

Again, amazing. You realize we are supporting the other side of terrorism in the region via Israel and Saudi Arabia right?

Yeah, he built a terrible strawman out of my statement...

Furthermore, his link is backed by Wikipedia pages and a CNN interview that insinuates that Osama Bin Laden funded and created Al Qaeda.

Iran is the largest state sponsor of terror in the world. So no fricking shite. Obama was so egotistical he wanted a legacy, and those around him wanted the same thing. This "Iran Deal" was the only thing they could think of, and they were willing to do anything to make it happen.

Nope... It’s highly possible that Obama got a share of that hard cash. Probably part of the deal.

This is true, but the fact remains that once funding ISI, where the money goes from there has nothing to do with "The CIA funding AQ". Also, Saudi was funding the US hating factions that became AQ.

The whole "WE created AQ to start a reason to invade so we could steal their oil maaaan. I read all about it in The Nation magazine..maaan", is just so pathetic it becomes irritating after a few decades.

How fricking gullible does one have to be?

This has got to be one of the stupidest, lame, unconscious of any part of the real world, that I have ever read.

If it's being used, in part, to fund terrorism, as in death and destruction, it is sort of the world's business.
