Cotton is pulling away from Pryor. Cotton, according to the most recent poll, is up by 8. In the same poll a month ago, he led by 2.

Cassidy leads Landrieu by 3 in the run off. In the jungle, Landreu nabs 36% of the vote, Cassidy 32%, and the democratic plant nabs 6%.

If Maness is a Dem plant, what's the point? It's not like he's going to keep Cassidy out of the runoff or give Piggy the win.

Maness may be a Demicratic plant but Cassidy is the Manchurian candidate. I doubt even EWE supported Dukakis, Tsongas and Blanco. But Cassidy did!

Cassidy was first elected to the Louisiana State Senate in 2006 as a Republican. Well before entering politics, he had been a Democrat. He supported Michael Dukakis for President in 1988 and donated money to the 1992 presidential campaign of Massachusetts Senator Paul Tsongas.[8][9] He also donated to Louisiana Democrats Kathleen Blanco for the 2003 gubernatorial election and Mary Landrieu for her 2002 Senate campaign.

Whos the plant again?

Makes the republicans spend more in LA/save money for a runoff. Is the argument, valid or not.

KPLC posts this poll with headline "Landrieu leads Senate race"

Thats just slightly misleading.

We should start getting early voting numbers from these states in the next few days.

Most of the other battleground states are reporting data.
2010 early voting #'s

Louisiana 125,054
76% White
21% Black

47% Dem
42% GOP

Arkansas had about 300k vote early in 2010 but no party/race stats.

I sent in my ballot a few weeks ago. It takes 3-4 weeks for mail to get here or back. I voted for Cassidy

Dems registered voters at an unreal clip during the last two months in Arkansas so no telling what that race will be. I heard estimates of some 84k new dems registered.

21,094 voted in Arkansas today..2.7% of total ballots counted in 2010. No partisan breakdown.

"Cassidy surges into the lead in round two, 43% to 40%."

That means a full 17% of voters are undecided for a runoff - which means the 43-40 lead doesn't mean much right now. 17% undecided when there are only two choices is actually an astronomical number at this stage of the game. Very odd.
