Let's get an accounting.

We have our old friends HHtm, boozie, and some woman named cmayes.

Who else is engaging in the revelry?

I'm not a Trump supporter in the primary but it's beyond infuriating and sad for the country

There's little doubt DeSantis feels the same way and sees it for what it is.

I'm pretty sure he's shaking his head.

I think the Cockpit is more his guilty pleasure.

He has the look of a closeted man.

Why in the hell do you think DeSantis supporters would be happy about this? Even beyond the ridiculousness of the charges and how it is a travesty of the law, this is bad for DeSantis politically. Trump gets another sympathy boost and all they are going to talk about is the indictments instead of the issues. Lots of "We must all unify behind Trump or else you are a RINO/Uniparty/whatever!"

No talk of the future or anything else but Trump. Then we get our asses handed to us in November and the country goes pure Socialist. Great.

The Left has bullied the Right into voting on emotion, just like its own base.

It’s only emotions that stand in the way of someone with an IQ above room temperature to understand you can be on Trump’s side in the war being waged on him by a bent DOJ/some states, but think he’s not our best option in 2024.

What ever happens I know one thing for a fact.
Trump will never be president again.
That’s why I had a hope another would come forth and steer some of the old Trumpers forward.
I voted for Trump and gladly will agin if nominated but he will never win.

I’m a Desantis supporter and am extremely supportive of these charges

They are damning, they are heartbreaking, but in my opinion, they are well earned

The fact is, trump descended into dangerous recklessness in November, December, and January 2020-2021.

Trump for much of his of life and his first term would say dumb stuff, but there was no meat on that bone And most just regarded him as “crazy goofy Donnie from queens”

Trump after the election 2020 became something different and darker

Negative.

The deep-state has but one ambition here... rid itself of Trump and anyone like him, in perpetuity.

They strive to punish Donald Trump for daring to run as a non-DeepState groomed candidate, as a candidate unbeholden to their affiliated donors, and therefore as an uncontrollable force. They expect to make such an example of him that no wealthy, non-DeepStater will ever make same 'mistake' again.

Opposing their effort has far less to do with emotion than it does with an innate understanding that, if they succeed here, we the people will have willingly ceded our say in our democracy.

The fact you are so ready to capitulate is unfortunate.

So you think Alan Dershowitz speaks out of ignorance when he states that, not only are the J6 charges wrongly wought, they are so bad they expose criminality on the part of the prosecution?

You think these charges, juxtaposed with the lack of charges for Hillary or Biden or Comey, are justifiable?

More law enforcement officials were hurt defending the WH during the Lafayette Square BLM/Antifa "protests" than on J6. Yet, compare the connected prosecutions. There is no comparison! None!

Then you are supportive of a banana republic junta, and simply hope DeSantis is the man best suited to execute it.

You're just a tiresome globalist who supports the most convenient republican globalist tool. We both know DeSantis never has a prayer at the White House, so I hope his puppet masters are paying him well to truncate his national political chances so early in his career. I'm sure you were among the geniuses crowing about the electability and business acumen of finance pirate Mitt Romney. You strike me as a big Kasich fan before he finally took his mask completely off. But what you actually support, you might as well just vote for Biden or Michelle or whoever the corporate-owned socialists put up, because there isn't a bit of difference between them and what you support.

Class,... this is what's known as psychological projection. It's informally called "gaslighting" -- the speaker denies characteristics of his own personality, and attributes them to another.

Projecting and gaslighting are two separate and distinct acts.

The definition you spell out…” denies characteristics of his own personality, and attributes them to another,” is one of projection. Gaslighting is the act of continuously contradicting or disingenuous questioning of another’s perception of reality; that they aren’t seeing and hearing what is actually occurring around them.
