So what's this thing people are talking about wearing a "safety pin"

Safety pins. You know, like what hold diapers up.

The newest liberal fashion accessory. To signify that you're 'safe' with that person, in the company of that person, etc. Another one of those meaningless, 'feel good' things libs do.

My zipper broke on my nomex so I had to use a bunch of safety pins to hold it together.

A little herd of blue haired, nü-males wearing lipstick came up to me, crying and wanting a hug.

Why? That is flat out hilarious. I posted a sign on my classroom door "This is not a safe space. You will be challenged in here." My principal and superintendent love it.

If we all wear safety pins two things happen.

1- They melt harder
2- The pin means little
