1. First you become an "accredited entity"

1A.
quote:

International Access Entities can include United Nations agencies, multilateral development banks, international financial institutions and regional institutions. GCF considers these organizations to have the wide reach and expertise to handle a variety of climate change issues, including ones that cross borders and thematic areas. International Access Entities do not need to be nominated by developing country NDAs / focal points.

1B. A list of the "accredited entities"
quote:

ENTITY NAME / ACRONYM
Acumen Fund, Inc. (Acumen)
Africa Finance Corporation (AFC)
African Development Bank (AfDB)
Agence Française de Developpement (AFD)
Agency for Agricultural Development of Morocco (ADA) Asian Development Bank (ADB)
Banque Ouest Africaine de Développement (BOAD)
Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC) Caribbean Development Bank (CDB)
Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) Centre de Suivi Ecologique (CSE)

GmbH (GIZ)
Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA)
Environmental Investment Fund (EIF)
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) European Investment Bank (EIB)
Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)
Foreign Economic Cooperation Office (FECO)
Fundación Avina (Fundación Avina)
HSBC Holdings plc and its subsidiaries (HSBC)
Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)
International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and International Development Association (World Bank) International Finance Corporation (IFC)
International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Korea Development Bank (KDB)
Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW)
Ministry of Finance and Economic Cooperation of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (MOFEC)
Ministry of Natural Resources of Rwanda (MINIRENA) National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD)

World Wildlife Fund, Inc. (WWF)
XacBank LLC (XacBank)

2. Then you funnel the cash (after taking your management fee) to the local 3rd world warlord.

quote:

It is not necessary for Accredited Entities to act as the direct implementer of funding proposals. Executing Entities can also do this on behalf of Accredited Entities by channelling funds and carrying out the funded activity. In these cases, Accredited Entities will continue to be important as they maintain oversight of Executive Entities’ GCF-related activities. GCF project approval is built on the need to support developing country priorities.

Developing countries nominate National Designated Authorities (NDAs) or focal points to act as the point of communication with GCF. Every project the GCF Board agrees to fund must be endorsed, expressed via a no objection letter, by the NDA or focal point. A full list of NDAs is available here.

4. Ask the US for more cash.

Thanks for researching and posting this. It would be interesting to know who down-voted you for posting data directly from their website, and their reasons.

Yea but Green Climate Fund sounds nice and good for the environment.

95% of liberals support it just because of the name. Smart.
