I didn't say I didn't "care". I said I wasn't for sure how I felt. Now that I have looked into how this new bill affects people I am beginning to understand how it will hurt individuals and their families.

If you truely believe this is good for people you need to see how it affects baby boomers.

This generation has taken care of our education, health, safety and many more things. Much of this has been paid through taxes and going without.

To think by paying a little more in taxes to pay for the generation that has taken care of us is selfish and wrong.

I'm sure some will disagree

Which is why it should be vetted, debated, allowed to have amendments added, etc. You know, the normal bill process. Drafting in secret and putting it to vote soon after making it public is insanely irresponsible.

In fairness, the Dems will see the bill when it comes before them and is introduced. It's not like they will be voting on a bill with no knowledge of what they are voting for. And, the GOP will probably have some that vote against it,s o they very well will need some Dems vote for the bill for it to pass.

From the standpoint of government sponsored Health care?
Would you mind telling me what it was?
You've never heard of Medicaid? And government is the only way to take care of others.

We are talking about Government sponsored healthcare program similar to Obama care or ACHA.
Not the only option.
